Open Question & Answer
​Sessions may be taken in any order, at any time, and repeated as many times as helpful. Note that some sessions are designed specifically with teachers in mind, some are geared just for the beginning or intermediate level bassoonist, and some are open to anyone. 

Topics will include (but not be limited to!) -
  • equipment needs and repair
  • understanding fingerings
  • the break: half hole and venting techniques
  • reeds: purchasing and adjusting
  • intonation
  • vibrato

In each session, we will relate these special topics to bassoon fundamentals of posture, breathing, and embouchure formation.
