Special guest Gabriel Beavers (University of Miami) speaks with Dr. Laura Bennett Cameron (University of Texas - Arlington) and Dr. Cayla Bellamy (Colorado State University) about hardware to optimize sound for virtual lessons and home recording.

Prof. Gabriel Beavers shares a quick promo for his new CD "Swagger," now available through Beauport Classical.
Dr. Bellamy compares bassoon sound through Zoom with "original sound," external USB microphones, and processing through a DAW (GarageBand).
Dr. Bellamy compares bassoon sound through Zoom with the new "high fidelity audio," external audio interfaces (Focusrite Scarlett), and finishing through a DAW (GarageBand).
Dr. Bellamy talks Dr. Bennett Cameron through downloading a virtual audio device to connect GarageBand audio to Zoom to achieve a more realistic timbre during virtual lessons and collaborations.
Dr. Bellamy explores the sound quality and latency aspects of collaborative virtual performance with Colorado State flute colleague Dr. Michelle Stanley.
