Special guest Bill Ludwig (Indiana University) speaks with Dr. Laura Bennett Cameron (University of Texas - Arlington) and Dr. Cayla Bellamy (Colorado State University) about breathing for bassoonists.

Dr. Bennett Cameron uses William Ludwig's suggestion for using low vowel sounds to inhale while playing. Bad intonation ensues when she does the opposite and doesn't look at the tuner.
Dr. Bellamy demonstrates breath expansion exercises drawn from Dr. Belisa Vranisch and Brian Sabin's "Breathing for Warriors."
