I have been involved in the hiring process for US public institutions of higher education for nearly a decade. In this time, I have served on over ten hiring committees for music faculty positions, including adjunct, contract term, and tenure-track appointments for applied music, ensemble direction, music core academic, and administrative roles. Personally, I have sought, interviewed, and earned term and tenure track positions at both regional comprehensive state and R1 land grand universities.
Previous coaching clients of mine regularly advance in early application rounds through paperwork and phone or video interview rounds to campus final interviews, and many are now faculty members at public and private colleges across the United States.

Small group coachings are a series of monthly virtual meetings (maximum 5 participants) over the course of four months, best for general career preparation and those anticipating applications within the next 6 to 18 months. This includes email follow-up and weekly individual 30 minute phone calls or video sessions for a flat season fee of $750.

Individual mentorship is the most intensive and flexible coaching relationship. We meet in private 60 minute video sessions either weekly or biweekly, and the mentorship includes unlimited email and text message follow-up. I view this form of mentorship as private instruction and charge a standard lesson rate of $75 per hour for scheduled meetings.
